Imiquimod is a kind of imidozoquinoline amine-class interleukin agonist d, belonging to the drug for the treatment of genital warts. Upon being applied to the mice skin, it can induce the cytokinesis and produce α-interferon, tumor necrosis factor and many kinds of interleukins. It may also be effective in treating vitiligo and alopecia areata.
